Workshop Series on Psychotherapy (32 Hours)
The purpose of this workshop series is to connect theoretical knowledge with practical application in the field of psychotherapy. It seeks to familiarise participants with various psychotherapeutic methods and teach them how to analyse cases using different therapeutic perspectives. By engaging in case studies, discussions, activities and role-playing, attendees will grasp the principles, abilities, and techniques associated with diverse therapeutic approaches.

- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): This session aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of CBT and its practical application in therapy sessions. It focuses on addressing clients’ thought patterns and behavioral manifestations to improve their daily functioning.

There will be an elaborate discussion on gender and sexuality and how we can be queer-affirmative in our practice. This session will include a case discussion.
- Art Therapy – therapeutic approach that uses the process of making art to improve mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Participants will learn how to use various art mediums to help clients express themselves, uncover hidden emotions, and foster personal growth. The session includes hands-on activities to demonstrate the therapeutic potential of art in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
- Narrative Therapy: a therapeutic approach that centers on the stories people tell about their lives. It emphasizes the importance of understanding and re-authoring these narratives to empower clients and promote positive change. Participants will learn techniques to help clients separate themselves from their problems and discover new, more constructive narratives.
